meet your photographers

Truthfully my love for photography began at a really young age! I got a cute little polaroid camera (a purple and white polaroid I-Zone pocket instant film camera IYKYK) when I was 8 years old and I was obsessed with taking pictures of everyone in my family.
I took my first film photography class in high school and fell in love with the dark room. I got my degree in architecture, but not without taking digital photography and another film photography class.
Fast forward to a couple years ago when my husband (the dude on the right lol) got me my first DSLR camera for Christmas and all I wanted to do was start photographing again. Every time I have the chance to photograph, I feel like the same little girl who loved taking Polaroid pictures of the special moments. I can’t wait to share a part of yours!

I started my first steps in photography with my parents’ camera. It was very basic, but I played with all of the settings until I broke it. Don’t worry, no one was hurt (haha). Despite all that, I realized that I had a curiosity for learning photography.
A couple of years later I met a friend who happened to be a passionate photographer and the feelings came back. I ended up taking a class in b&w film photography where I learned the basics and had the opportunity to develop film in the dark room.
Currently, my wife is my main motivation to continue to explore photography in ways that I would never had on my own. I am inspired by the feeling you get when you look at a photograph. It triggers something in our minds that makes us relive a moment that was forever frozen in time and I love that.
